Privacy Policy — Spice Sort

Last updated: October 21, 2026

This policy describes how the app Spice Sort (package com.scareviewslabs.spicesort) handles the information of the people who use it. Spice Sort is a free spice-sorting puzzle game supported by advertising.

Data the app does not collect

Spice Sort does not require an account or sign-in and does not ask for personal data such as your name, email address or phone number. It does not use your camera, microphone, contacts or precise location.

Data stored on your device

Your game progress (levels completed, stars, unlocked jars and dishes, settings and language) is stored only on your device. We do not receive it. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this progress is deleted.

Seasonal content

To update the monthly seasonal rewards, the app downloads a public data file from our server (games.scareviewslabs.com) over an encrypted HTTPS connection. This request does not include any personal information. As with any web request, our server may technically receive your IP address and device type in its standard access logs.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

To keep the game free we show ads through Google AdMob: an interstitial ad between some levels and optional rewarded videos that you can choose to watch in exchange for stars or discounts. Watching a video is never required to play the game.

For this purpose the Google SDK may collect and share with its advertising partners the following information from your device:

This data is used to show and measure advertising. Google's handling of it is governed by Google's own policies. You can read how Google uses information from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Consent (EEA, UK and similar regions)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another region that requires it, the app shows a consent form (Google's User Messaging Platform) the first time you open it, before any ad is requested. You can accept or refuse, and you can change your choice at any time from the privacy options entry in the app's settings. If you refuse, ads are limited to what is allowed without consent.

Your choices

You can limit personalized advertising or reset your advertising ID in your Android device settings, under Settings → Privacy → Ads. You can also delete all of your game data at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it.

Children

Spice Sort is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app's features change. The current version, with its update date, will always be published on this page.
